Please note that on 15 December 2003, Interserve Plc (the "Company") was
notified that Aviva plc (and its subsidiary Morley Fund Management Limited),
were interested in 11,453,600 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company,
representing an aggregate total of 10.07% of the Company's issued share
capital.
