On 16th December, Mr Stanley Fink, Chief Executive transferred 284,007 ordinary
shares in Man Group plc at cost by way of a charitable donation. This represents
a disposal of shares acquired over a period of time at an average cost of
1081.70p. The gain over this cost base in relation to the prevailing market
price is being donated to charity. Following this transaction Mr Stanley Fink is
deemed to be interested in a total of 4,663,298 Man Group plc ordinary shares
representing approximately 1.53% of the Company's issued share capital.
