                RESULT OF EGM IN RELATION TO PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF
                        THE TRADING EXCHANGE (UK) LIMITED

                               DIRECTORATE CHANGE

The Trading Exchange plc ("the Company"), announces that at an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the Company held on 17 May 2005, the resolutions to approve
the proposed disposal of the Trading Exchange (UK) Limited, were duly passed by
shareholders.

The Company also announces that on 17 May 2005 Graham Twaddle stepped down from
the Board with immediate effect.

Roger Mitchell, the Company's CEO commented:
