Statement re press speculation



Following recent press speculation, Medal Entertainment & Media plc ("MEM" or
"the Company") confirms that it is in advanced discussions with regard to the
proposed sale of Fountain Television Studios ("Fountain"). In the light of this,
the Company now expects to release its preliminary results for the year ended
31st March 2006 on or around Friday 14th July, by which time the Directors of
MEM expect to be able to provide further information regarding the proposed sale
of Fountain.
