In conformity with the Transparency Directive's Transitional Provision 6, The
Wensum Company plc ("Wensum")  would like to notify the market of the following:



Wensum's issued share capital comprises  7,833,916 shares of  5p each. The
Company does not have any Treasury Shares or any other non voting shares.



The total number of voting rights in 7,833,916 shares is therefore 7,833,916.



The above figures may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, Wensum  under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
