Georgian Railway Announces Financial Results for First Quarter 2012

Georgian Railway JSC (formerly Georgian Railway LLC), Georgia's integrated railway company, announces its financial results for the First Quarter of 2012.

Revenue for the First Quarter was GEL 105.8 million, representing an increase of 2% over the equivalent period in the year 2011.

Net profit for the First Quarter amounted to GEL 33.1 million, an increase of 16% compared with the net profit of GEL 28.5 million for the First Quarter of 2011.

In preparing the First Quarter 2012 financial statements, management adjusted the First Quarter 2011 financial statements. See Note 18 to the financial statements for details of these adjustments
