BlackRock Greater Europe Investment Trust plc 
 
Conversion of Subscription Shares 
 
Following the exercise of Subscription Share Rights by 9 holders of 
Subscription Shares, the Board of BlackRock Greater Europe Investment Trust plc 
announces that it has issued, subject to listing, 3,102 Ordinary Shares.  The 
Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares. 
 
The Company has applied for these shares to be listed on the Official List and 
commencement of dealings in the Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange to 
take place at 8.00 a.m. on 6 November 2015. 
 
Following this conversion of Subscription Share Rights and listing, there will 
be 104,312,765 Ordinary Shares (excluding 5,488,898 Ordinary Shares held in 
treasury) and 20,542,076 Subscription Shares in issue.
