                                 Trading Update


Victoria PLC ("the Group") issues the following update ahead of publication of
the Group's Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 March 2007, which are
scheduled to be announced on Wednesday 20 June 2007.

Current Trading

Overall, the markets in which we operate have been reporting a very mixed
trading environment and although we indicated at the interim stage that our
sector would remain competitive and challenging it is pleasing to report that
against this background the Group has been able to improve its trading
performance and market share.

During 2006 the Group launched a number of new innovative products which, when
added to our core ranges has created one of the strongest ever product
portfolios. All of these products have been well received by our customers while
meeting the demands of the consumer.

Through a combination of product innovation, customer service and the on-going
drive for business improvement the Group has performed ahead of management
expectations.

As a result, the Directors now expect that the Group will comfortably exceed
current market expectations for the financial year ended 31 March 2007.
