--Schlumberger Ltd. (SLB) pulled its plans to acquire a stake in Russia's Eurasia Drilling Company Ltd., Reuters reports Monday.

--Russia's anti-monopoly service said Monday the U.S. oil-field services company was no longer pursuing a stake in Eurasia Drilling, which is the largest oil services provider in the country, the report said.

--Schlumberger had no immediate comment, but last month had said it would drop plans to acquire a stake in Eurasia Drilling if it didn't get the necessary government approvals quickly, the report said.
