1007 ET -- Procter & Gamble is one of the most mentioned companies in the U.S. across all news items in the last 12 hours, according to Factiva data. P&G said its first-quarter profit rose 15%, helped by price increases. Sales grew about 6% to $21.9 billion and earnings per share came in at $1.83, both figures beating analysts' expectations.
