Vale clarifies on Aliança Energia

Rio de Janeiro, September 2, 2024 – Following the press release dated June 13, 2024^[1] and considering the article published by the newspaper Valor on this date^[2], Vale S.A (“Vale”) reaffirms that it continues to search for potential partners for Aliança Geração de Energia S.A. At this time, there is no binding instrument or decision made regarding who will be the potential partner for the future platform or its capital structure. Vale will keep the market informed of any material facts regarding the topic.
