Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 30, 2025, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Hancock Whitney Corporation (the “Company”) declared a 12.5% increase in the regular first quarter 2025 cash dividend. The quarterly cash dividend of $0.45 per share is payable on March 17, 2025 to shareholders of record as of March 5, 2025. The Company has paid uninterrupted quarterly dividends to shareholders since 1967.

Hancock Whitney Increases Quarterly Dividend 12.5%

 

GULFPORT, Miss. (January 30, 2025) — Hancock Whitney Corporation (Nasdaq: HWC) today announced that at its January meeting, the Company’s Board of Directors (“the Board”) approved a regular first quarter 2025 common stock cash dividend of $0.45 per common share, an increase of $0.05 per common share, or 12.5%. The first quarter dividend is payable on March 17, 2025 to shareholders of record as of March 5, 2025.
