TORONTO, NEW YORK, and LONDON, Sept. 17,
2020 /CNW/ - BMO Capital Markets will hold its
16th annual Equity Through Education (ETE) Trading day
program on September 23, 2020. BMO
Capital Markets will donate all European and North American
institutional equity commissions earned from this day's trading to
underprivileged students through scholarships, bursaries and
leadership development, in affiliation with BMO's charitable
partners in education.
"We are proud to be able to continue our Equity Through
Education program for a 16th year, promoting diversity
and inclusion as we partner with charities to offer scholarships,
bursaries, mentoring programs, and development opportunities to
deserving students," said Dan
Barclay, CEO and Group Head, BMO Capital Markets. "ETE
allows BMO to grow the good in business and in life by helping
promising young scholars pursue post-secondary education ambitions
and their career development."
Since its inception in 2005, the program has raised almost
$25 million and helped more than 5000
