EDMONTON, Alberta, May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Medical
Services International Inc (Pink Sheets: MSITF) wishes to announce
that the retail volume of the VScan HIV1&2 test kits is
increasing on a monthly basis. As the accuracy and ease of use
becomes known and the number of retail outlets carrying the VScan
HIV test kits increases, the amount of kits sold to the retail
public is increasing. The kits retail for $9.99 US to $13.95 US. It
is anticipated that the Company will sell in excess of 200,000
VScan HIV test kits in the current calendar year and significantly
more next year as the current marketing program begins to take
effect. The company continues to negotiate contracts with new
distributors. The testing that the company has completed and
continues to do is showing that the VScan HIV test kits is the most
accurate on the market particularly using whole blood while in the
field. It does not need refrigeration or trained medical staff
