As part of this program, the Company is looking for a partner in the United States to begin the process of applying for regulatory approval in the United States. The Company has done significant testing of its VScan rapid test kit for TB and is confident that its test data will be acceptable. While the Capital Health Authority of Edmonton has indicated that exposure in this case was very low risk, it shows that Tuberculosis (TB) is in the general population and is being spread. What the Capital Health authority did not address is the exposure to the children that were being picked up. According to the World Health Organization, TB will kill over 8 million people this year.
