Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the listing of, and to
the London Stock Exchange for the Admission of 26,020 Ordinary Shares of 2p each
fully paid, ranking pari passu with the existing ordinary shares, to the
Official List.

These shares will be issued to Arla Foods amba Group, (pursuant to the
Relationship Agreement in connection with the merger of Express Dairies plc with
Arla Foods plc as set out in the Listing Particulars 28th March 2003) to restore
Arla Foods amba Group's holding in Arla Foods UK plc to 51% following the
exercise of options under the Express Dairies plc Company Share Option Plan.
