GLENCAR MINING PLC

                        Exercise of Warrants

                            10 April 2006

Warrants to subscribe for 660,000  Ordinary Shares of �0.031 each  in
the capital of Glencar Mining  plc ("Glencar" or the "Company")  have
been exercised by Loeb Aron  & Co Limited at  a price of �0.045  each
today.  The new Ordinary Shares rank pari passu in all respects  with
the existing Ordinary Shares.

Application will be  made to  the London  Stock Exchange  and to  the
Irish Stock Exchange for  the new Ordinary Shares  to be admitted  to
trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange ("AIM") and on
the Irish Enterprise  Exchange of the  Irish Stock Exchange  ("IEX").
Dealing is expected to commence in these shares on 14 April 2006.
