Charterhouse Communications plc received notification on 13 March 2007 that Mr.
Roy Leighton purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at a
price of 2.00 pence each, in two separate transactions of 25,000 each on 28
February 2007 and 2 March 2007.



Following these purchases Mr. Leighton's holding in the Company is 4,070,000
shares, representing 3.30% of the total issued share capital.
