Norwegian natural gas company Norse Energy Corp. ASA (NEC.OS)
said Thursday its Certified best estimate Contingent Resources
remain at 951 million barrels of oil equivalent (BOE), the same as
previously certified on Jun. 30, 2012 by third party agent
Schlumberger Ltd. (SLB), and 71 million BOE higher than the
year-end 2011 value of 880 million BOE.
MAIN FACTS:
-The company's net proved reserves of 9.865 billion cubic feet
or 1.7 million BOE at year-end 2012 also remains identical to the
reported Jun. 30, 2012 volumes.
-"Schlumberger's year-end certification of the company's
significant liquids rich gas, and dry gas resources in the
Marcellus, Utica and Upper Devonian Shales in New York State
supports our view of the attractiveness of the company's assets,"
says CEO, Mark Dice
-Shares closed Wednesday at NOK1.36, valuing the company at
NOK147.8 million.
