PILAT TECHNOLOGIES INTERNATIONAL LIMITED

AGM


The annual general meeting ("AGM") of Pilat Technologies International Limited
("PTIL") was held today.

PTIL's by-laws require a quorum of one third of the total voting powers to be
represented at the AGM.  At the meeting today, shareholders holding 8,398,833
ordinary shares, which is 32 per cent. of the issued share capital, were
represented.

As a result, the AGM was adjourned until 11 August 2005.
