Snipp Powers Three New Shopper Marketing Promotion Programs for
Leading Brands
BETHESDA, MARYLAND--(Marketwired - May 7, 2014) - Snipp
Interactive Inc. ("Snipp"), an international provider of mobile
marketing solutions listed on the TSX Venture Exchange
(TSX-VENTURE:SPN), is pleased to announce the launch of three new
shopper-marketing programs. All three programs leverage SnippCheck,
Snipp's unique receipt processing solution and SnippWin, Snipp's
comprehensive cross-device promotions tool.
A leading provider of fiber cement siding and backer board is
using SnippWin and SnippCheck to run a three-month sweepstakes
contest exclusively in 24 Lowe's stores in the Chicago Metropolitan
area. Consumers can enter to win a grand prize suite at a Chicago
Cubs home game along with other prizes by submitting purchase
receipts. The more of the brand's products a consumer purchases at
Lowe's, the more entries they get into the sweepstakes. The program
launched April 15 and is running until August 15, 2014 with winners
chosen monthly. Snipp assisted in media buying, program design, and
implementation.
A SnippCheck promotion with a food company gives consumers a
free movie ticket to see "How to Train Your Dragon 2" when they
purchase 3 qualifying products. To participate, consumers need to
send in their receipt via text message to SnippCheck. Once
validated, Snipp partner Fandango will fulfill the movie ticket
reward. The program launched May 1 and will run through June 30,
2014 and runs nationally across all retailers.
Partnering with a marketing company, SnippCheck is powering a
purchase-based sweepstakes program that targets shoppers within a
5-mile radius of a Walmart store. Consumers need to purchase the
brand's products at any Walmart and email their receipts for a
chance to win one of 5 $100 Walmart gift cards. The sweepstakes
launched May 1 and is running through June 15, 2014.
