                           ("ECPC" OR "THE COMPANY")

                            Distribution of Capital

Further to the announcement made by the Company on 21 December 2007, ECPC
confirms that it will make an initial return of capital of EUR 0.94 per share
("the Return of Capital") to shareholders.

The Return of Capital will be payable on 31 January 2008 to shareholders who are
on the register on 29 January 2008. The Return of Capital will be payable in
Euros.
