FTC Withdraws Case Against Microsoft-Activision Merger, Reuters Says

-- The Federal Trade Commission has withdrawn its case against
Microsoft's acquisition of Activision, Reuters reports.
-- The withdrawal comes a day after both parties agreed to
extend the deadline of the merger until mid-October, which gives
the companies more time to gain regulatory approval in the U.K.
